We use SolidWorks as our main software tool together with other downstream applications, such as COSMOSWorks Professional, Mold Flow Express, etc. Our customers come from industries such as consumer products, medical and the military.

Rapid Prototyping

We produce accurate prototypes from the design data created. Very often, these prototypes are made out of plastic and can be use for proof of concept as well as functional testing. The most commonly used technologies are FDM, SLA, Urethane Casting, SLS, and Investment Casting. Properties and materials vary from rubber-like materials, nylon and pc-like to aluminum and steel. Some models need to be robust for snap fits while other models provide fine detail.

Reverse Engineering – Save Time and Money

We use the latest in 3D laser scanning software to obtain data that can then be converted into a 3D CAD file. This technique is used when a one of a kind product exists and 3D CAD data needs to be created. Traditional reverse engineering techniques using coordinate measuring machines are also used to create a data base.

Specifically, our Z-Scanner 700 brings needed speed, ease-of-use and unprecedented versatility to 3D scanning. Scanning can be done on any object in the tightest spaces and in real-time with one continuous scan. This technique saves money by providing speed and accuracy.
